i lived something like that althought it was with my grandma, so my mom went through all that. She was like your father too, looking to an empty place in the room, talking with someone ans asking them to take her... it was so hard, i couldn't be more than one hour there, she was really bad. she had the same condition as ur father and what my mom and grandpa did was make it paonless for her, and let god decide when to take her. they put her into sedation and it took her 4 days to die. but she died without pain. so i just think you should make it painless for him, and whatever happens, he wont suffer.

I'm so sorry to hear that 'kaachan :( I guess in one way or another, we all experience things like this in our lives. The difficult thing about it though is it usually comes unexpected. It's hard to let go but I think acceptance is part of it. Stay strong 'kaachan and I'll be praying for what's the best for your family.. *hugs* I'll always be here <3
