Wait, I had an inner labia tear and I haven't looked with a mirror, only sort of looked down there but something looks sketch. I feel like part of my labia is not there. I'm going to have to check and I'll report back my findings because maybe we have a similar issue. I was too scared but now I need to know.

Mine is like... not just split but kind of like you said.. it's NOT there. Like a chunk went missing. But I think it's because it wasn't stitched together and it just healed that way? It's ugly as shit.

Bitch doctor never told me I even had a labia tear. I'm annoyed. I'm def going to say something when I go for my 6 week checkup.

OMG!! That sounds horrible! I can't imagine why they wouldn't fix that, let alone not tell you. Ouch

I know I'm confused as to why they wouldn't FIX it.

I just wish everything would stop itching. It looks and FEELS healed but the stitches are disolving. Bleh.

I'm gonna say something to the OB who delivered me at my 6 week appointment. I don't think she was the one who told me about my tears, though... I think a nurse did? Everything is a little foggy. \

Either way, no one told me the horrible truth... I'm SO sad I looked. Lol.

It just makes no sense. Maybe they'll offer reconstructive surgery or something. If they don't do anything, maybe tell them you're calling a lawyer. Even if your not.

I don't think I had any labial tears but I'm absolutely freaked out that if I have another vaginal birth, there's this huge chance I'm going to tear again. As wonderful as it was to give birth, the recovery for a perineal tear SUCKED... I hated it. I had to waddle everywhere, even worse than when I was pregnant!

:( Ouch.

Yeah my vagina is forever changed too. I had an episiotomy which tore further and they stitched it but it never closed up. So it's split like 1/2 inch on my perinium and it just kind of healed like that. It still hurts sometimes. I'm not letting them cauterize me though so I guess it's going to stay like that. Yay for butchered vaginas. Except not.
