I have been wondering for some time now about the real meaning Gackt tries to convey with YFC shows, with their fanservice and aggressive sexuality and overall madness and screaming sessions etc etc, and i think i understand now. Seems like YFC are trying to appeal to the most basic of human emotions - sexual desires, self-preservation instinct, the desire to win a fight, the desire to let go of all inhibitions and let your inner child/beast/whatever have serious fun. In a way this reminds me of some ancient rites. If you're able to do that, your soul will indeed be cleansed. That's a huge boost of energy, indeed. I hope people from the disaster areas felt it, and it has left bright and unforgettable memories that will support them in their day-to-day struggles.
"This is so much better than it used to be, though"
I appologize, but though I didn't see "before", when I saw the pictures of wide wide land with barely houses I thought: "This is a new chance to build completely new places to live once they recover a little. Has any of the people there ever seen so much space in this country of crowded cities?"
I know they lost everything, sometimes even all, but still even a desaster has a good side.
"At any rate, just go to the affected areas and feel the current situations".
The days when I saw the first YFC desaster-area pictures and yesterday when seing his blog, even before having any clue what was written in it, I felt the urge of going there myself comming up and overwhelming me again. It's physically ripping on my body that I can't go yet. How comes a country feels so very close although I've not been there yet? I still have a hard time explaning my deep love towards Japan and it's people.
"This, I ask of you from the bottom of my heart."Goddamn man, you kill me. You're ripping me
( ... )
Unfortunately, most people here (in my country) seem to have forgotten. You don't hear or see anything in the news about how bad the situation in Japan still is. It's sad, really. :(
