Thank you for translating so much of this. I feel like I better understand the hardships of it all than I did in the past. But GACKT is definitely right about having to be there to fully understand. It's so true. :'(
I don't want to be a grown-up who would perform in a live thinking about tomorrow. No matter how much people tell me I'm doing too much and that I'm foolish, I...
*sigh* I wish he'd listen to people. I feel like most of his entries mention him losing his voice or not having much of a voice left.
His words about the towns struck by the tsunami were so powerful. He's right, you really can't understand the full effect unless you see it in person. Those kids are so brave
Seriously, this man is such an inspiration for humanity. When he mentions that nothing is more powerful than a smile, he ain't lying! Through his music, he is able to express love and courage, which in turn give people the strength to keep moving forward and to create a bright future with their own hands.
Thanks to GACKT, he gives me strength to follow my dreams. And he now has given me strength to pursue my new goal: to see Sendai in person. Because only by seeing the destruction AND the reconstruction in person, can one understand how much strength a human being has; that after losing so much to a natural disaster, humans still have the ability to help others and to make the world a better place.
GACKT, I am proud to be your fan. I look forward to celebrating my second GACKTiversary in November. You are, and you always will be, our moon: that illuminating our way towards our dream, in the middle of the darkness.
