yesterday someone pulled the hilarious prank of letting a bunch of crickets out in the tower next to mine (my residence has towers, yes.) last night i was in the room of someone who lives on the floor above mine, when the guy who lives directly above me came by and said to "watch out for crickets coming from the vents ( Read more... )

I'M SO SORRY, BUT I HAD TO GOOGLE TO FIND OUT WHATEVER CRICKETS EVEN WERE AND THAT WAS THE FIRST IMAGE THAT APPEARED AND I JUST COULDN'T CONTROL MYSELF AND HAD TO SHOW YOU!

THERE IS NO NEED TO WEEP, YOU SHOULD RATHER BE HAPPY FOR THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR SOME SPRING-CLEANING!

Don't leave any food in your room. If there is food the crickets will eat it. If there is no food, the crickets will eat eachother, thereby handily clearing up any cricket problem you may have.

Also, crickets only lay their eggs in the summer, and they hatch in the spring. So I doubt you have to worry about them laying eggs in your socks, unless their life-cycles have been SIGNIFICANTLY altered to make them think it's summer or some shit like that.

Also, my cat likes to stalk, play with and then eat crickets. Sometimes she'll bring one into our house and drop it on the carpet and watch it as it hops around. And then she eats it. It's very fun to watch.

there isn't food in my room (except like... a million old fruitopia bottles OH GOD WHAT IF THEY WANT TO DRINK IT AND THEN DIE IN IT AND THEN I HAVE BOTTLES OF DEAD CRICKETS)
