Yess! So excellent to find kindred studying spirits. Also, it's so nice that my days of studying are behind me now. I'm really glad you found it funny! I was thisclose to deleting the whole thing and dropping out because I couldn't find enough time to write something I deemed acceptable, but decided to just go ahead and post this at the last second.

Oh man, I don't even know how many entries I have written in here about my ridiculous relationship with Latin. Time has apparently dulled my senses though because I keep wanting to pick up my Wheelock textbook again and study it independently should I ever decide to pursue a Masters in Classics. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Brain beer! I love it!! And Will Smith's Wild Wild West is one of my guilty pleasures, I find myself doing that hippity hop dance anytime I'm in a bad mood. :grin:

Oh my gosh it's also one of my karaoke songs of choice. The other is Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby. So many good times associated with that song, it never fails to make me happy!

Great entry. I took four years of Latin in high school and loved it. I think I enjoyed it because I liked discovering the derivation of so many words from the Dead Language!

Thanks so much! I so wish I would've been introduced to Latin at an earlier age, if not for the reason that it is so helpful in learning HOW to learn another language. I also took a course called "The Greek and Latin Roots of the English Language" and it was CRAZY interesting.
