I cackled with glee when I read this week’s topic.  I already know the answer to the query of insanity, a big fat YES, and so I am going to tell you why.  It is one of those few areas of my life where I feel absolutely certain, and take some small measure of pride in.  Why is this? You -- I have a feeling I'm gonna like you. A lot. This was hilarious to me -- while I was never brave enough to do anything like this, I definitely love seeing people who are unashamed to embrace their weirdness.

How is Halloween not a big thing at every high school? It was a big thing at my school, complete with graphic design teacher who awarded extra credit for dressing up.

Being different can be more fun.

I don't know! It was insane. People were apparently far too serious about school to bother with such trivialities as Halloween. I actually bid that school a not-so-fond farewell at the end of the year and spent my graduating year at a different school where my dance friends went and Halloween was a much more exciting affair.
