[Video] Rule 6

[It's so good to be back in his body. Joshua is back with his usual expression on his face, and there'll be no more scary giggling as Naoya.]That was quite the experience. My question is directed mainly at those who've been here longer. Have you noticed any pattern at the timing of these curses? For example, do most happen at the beginning of a ( Read more... )

[He isn't looking too happy, thanks to last week, but he is relieved to be back in his own body.]

They happen every other week, so...get used to them.

[He seems to be a magnet for unhappy people.]

Really? So we should expect another one next week?

[Sigh.]

Yeah, unfortunately. They never really seem to stop.

With no warning, either. How troublesome.

[It's like a week-long surprise party, and all the foreigners are invited.]

I see you are back to normal, child.

Yep. Glad to see that everyone seems to be just fine, if the other messages are anything to go by.

Of course.

I haven't seen you before, child. You were inhabiting the Fallen Son's body weren't you, hmn?

He remembers too much. I'm Joshua.

[ Aziraphale looks delighted; he is himself, he is home, and he is with his family again. Crossing his arms, he looks pleased and pensive at the same time. ]

They all seem to last no longer than a week.

[Yay, mommy and daddy are together again! And Uncle Crowley's still his grumpy self!]

That's a good thing, else I believe we would have lost our sanity. Is there one curse every month, or two?

[He likes being prepared for things like this.]

I think so. Some of the curses have been quite unsettling, the most recent being a prime example. [ Sigh. ] I believe they're every fortnight or so - we are given time to relax, I suppose.

Any longer and I should think we'd lose our sanity. It sounds like someone wants to keep us around...somewhat intact.

Every fortnight, I'm afraid.

[ Mmm, quietly to himself... ] I believe you and I need to chat in private, Kiryuu.

[ There are noises--and... ] ... Yoshiya. What did you do with my clothes?

oh_neku_dear October 18 2010, 23:04:09 UTC
Wonderful. A surprise every month.

[A subtle head tilt.] Where would you like for us to chat, then?

[Innocent look! ...Oh, wait.] Now I know I'm in trouble if you're using my first name. I didn't burn them. They're either in the closet or in the wash, I don't really remember.

[Liar. He remembers. They're in the wash.]

You'll hardly be calling it 'wonderful' if it nullified every single extra-sensory ability you had. Almost none of them are 'harmless', except for the odd environmental ones, which are quite rare.

... The curses didn't start until we had quite a few foreigners here, though. I've been here since the beginning.

[ That time Hiroki got catears, however... man that was HILARIOUS. Kitten of Bel. He lol'd for like... days. ]

Mm, I really don't care where--there's a café in the Middle district that's quite nice, actually.

[ 8| He really REALLY LIKED THAT HAORI OKAY? But, at least he has his COMP back. Yoshiya has his phone. All is right with the world. ] ... My haori is fine. It's the geta that concerns me, Yoshiya. Why is it I cannot find them?

It's scary when he uses Josh's first name. ;^; oh_neku_dear October 19 2010, 15:09:06 UTC
So, the environment isn't safe, either. What happened last time a curse affected the city itself?

There probably weren't enough for a big impact, perhaps?

Then let's meet there. When?

[Joshua is really happy his phone is back. So scary, Naoya! Scary, scary! He holds up both hands in 'surrender,' expression infuriatingly amused. Little mink.] Oh, the geta. They're...probably in a couch. The attic was too dusty.

Every fortnight, I'm afraid. Though there are times when a few are spared from the effects. Sometimes the curses do not affect the 'foreigners' at all, and instead the environment. It's quite fascinating to observe.

The environment as well? Interesting. How do the locals take to that, I wonder?

Oh, they try their best to act is if it's normal, even if what was happening was, for example, precipitation in the form of rubber ducks. Even soap opera stars could top their wooden performances.

How suspicious. Are they trying to keep us here?
