There comes a point when you're teaching someone something when they finally get it. Out of the 7 people in my class about 4 of them get it. I"m teaching a kind of setting that is very precise and looks simple. I wonder if there is some way that I can make the others understand what they're doing wrong and put it in terms that they understand ( Read more... )

Thank you for your perspective and input. Yes, I think I've had almost all of those students. Is there such a thing as being dyslectic about forms? I have a person who can't tell up from down and if I put ink on an area and say "file the ink off" files the ends shorter and is surprised at the result.
I do pity you the teen angst student. I have yet to have one of those but do unfortunately have the stereotypical dumb blonde....soooo dumb.

Resign yourself to the fact that sometimes, as you say, the light might not go on..it's not to do with your side, but the other one!
