What a brilliant story - got sent here from a rec on Gateworld's Sam/Jack fic rec thread, and I'm so glad that someone did rec it, as I probably would have missed it otherwise.
I loved the detail in the post-apocalyptic earth, the reaction of the boys when they see the alternate earth for the first time, and everything about both your sets of Sam and Jack - you managed to nail their relationship on the head twice, in two very different realities.
I really hope that you've written more SG-1 or plan to in the future!
