That's quite a shame, sir. Pirates be quite interesting. They be a bit rough around th' edges, endlessly seekin' adventure, bravin' th' seas night an' day! Although, that`s jus' th' romantic view o' a buccanneer`s life... guess it's all part o' th' appeal, sir.

Kind o' like yer cowboy style, sir!

Them salty sea dogs didn't live with no code, no honour... A bunch of stray wet rats, they were. Probably stunk like mildewed saddle blanket, too.

Oh~ I love this holiday! Too bad I missed this post earlier! I forgot to talk like a pirate for most of the day, but I did see some people wearing eye patches!

Good job celebrating it, you salty sea dog!!!!

It's not as well-known as most popular holidays, I must admit, but I believe its obscurity adds to its appeal, sir!

Thank you, Mrs. DeLite!

Oh, I'm afraid I completely missed this holiday. Not that I'd have participated very much, mind you... but I've always had a rather fond spot for pirates.

Yeah, I know you liked them pirate films that came out in high school.

Well, yes--they were fairly popular at the time. I recall that cowboys did not enjoy a particularly good reputation during those same years.

But don't worry; I still prefer a dashing, dusty, honor-bound frontiersman to a salty ol' sea dog... by a margin.

So if I were a pirate 'stead of a cowboy....
