oh you evil, cliffhanger-bearing, wicked child you! *grins* I love this story. Totally AU in a totally believable way. I like my non-canon presented in a could've been canon way and you've done it beautifully. Really looking forward to what happens with this.

I'm really glad it's a believable AU, I worry that my Spike and Xander voices aren't quite up to scratch yet, but it's good to know you can see the characters =]

I was so glad that I was able to avoid the cliffie of chapter 4 but now you got me *grmpf*. At least my addiction to this great fic is a bit released. Where is the next update???

I'm really glad that you like this so far. It's great to know I can get it right sometimes.

I've actually already written the next [two] chapters, but I haven't run through them again (the curses of no beta means I need to read through everything to make sure it makes sense outside of my head before I post it).

Wow! Xander has a plan to deactivate the chip in Spike's head? I wonder what he has cooked up? And I can't wait to hear Spike's reaction.
