1. There's a rumour going around that RM were being difficult about letting Higuain go, and that's why he's not on there, but I don't know whether to believe that. [I'm still a bit mad at him for refusing to go to the WYC, but that's neither here nor there.]

1. I hadn't heard that, but if it's true, then askldfjklsf aughpipita. Either way, I wonder how much this will hurt his chances of making senior team appearances in the future.

4. I still don't know what the fuck actually happened, if it did happen, and what's up with that shit. Batista seems a bit bemused by the question, so maybe he's like the rest of us: OUT OF THE LOOP.

With regards to Higuain, I'm surprised he was left out. (Why did he decline to go to WYC?) But I guess if the team does not too well without him (if they lose early in the tournament, can't score...) he still stands a good chance of getting a place on the senior team. If they do well, this may be the standard line-up for most future games.

He declined to go to the WYC because he'd had a long season with Real (which I don't buy, because he'd only been there for half a season).
