YESTERDAY- Watched Man City-Liverpool in a daze. Went back to bed, half-woke up for Racing-RM. I have nothing to say about the first game, except that the team should have done better

Yeah, to be honest, I don't really follow the UEFA cup until the latter stages? *dies* so seeing Hinkel get to start in the league is still kind of exciting. It's still startling to me to think about players who are affected by depression. Him and Basti Diesler, mostly, although I hope he can break through in Spain. I'd love to see him do well there.
Thanks! I only just discovered the many joys of dressing kittums up in football scarves. *shifty eyes*
I'm just pleased because Espanyol are still in it. I hope either they or Sevilla win it. Are you rooting for Werder, then?
It says:
Hinkel has become a sad player tonight at the Mestalla after his expulsion due to a penalty committed on Villa left the team practically knocked out. The German realized that he could have the maximum penalty, but didn't seem too understanding about the red: "I touched the ball and the player fell. It could have been a penalty but I don't think it was a red card, because he was by my side and not getting near the ball. It was bad luck for me and for the rest of the team," he said.
At the end, the German admitted that "after going down 2-0 with a player less, it was very complicated to rescue the game."
So ... yeah, basically. He's disappointed with the red card decision, and knows that it costed the team a chance to come back. :/

It was hilarious. I was watching the Barcelona-Mallorca game earlier and he was baring his teeth at the laptop. My kittum is anti-Cule, how cute. :D

Thanks for the write up on River v Boca. I wasn't able to watch, but this would suffice. Great stuff.
