I had time to write more on The Warrior with No Name today during the treatment of the new well. Hopefully it will be a good well. God knows how much we need to impress the investors. Our livelihood and reputations are riding here.  Being self-employed sucks.

Thanks so much! Equipment pricing has gone up too much since the oil prices went up. We're just struggling to get by drilling for small investors right now. Unfortunately this well is part of a turnkey program that was established last year when the oil prices were at 60/bbl. Turnkey means we can't charge anymore than the "advertised" price. We are so eating our shirts right now. I'll be glad when this well and the final well is drilled in this program and we can raise the prices to cover equipment and overhead.

I was actually ranting about equipment costs. I don't think it's so much price gouging, but simple supply and demand. As awful as that sounds. The more people want something and the less there is, the price goes up. It sucks. There are probably bad guys out there, taking advantage, but for the most part, it's honest people trying to make a living. Two years ago I never, ever expected the prices to be so high
