19 "Wow, this place looks pretty much the same. I'm glad."
"Hillary? Is that you?"
"Viviann! I'm so happy you could make it! And sorry for making you drive all the way here in the middle of the night."
Viviann was shocked. This was the girl that she saw no longer than a year ago, with a bow in her head and a pink sweater? She, though, decided not to comment on the big pink elephant in the room. Changing her looks was probably just a challenge to people she talks to, to see if they care enough for her to leave her alone about it.
"Not at all, Hillary. I told I'd help you with anything, didn't I?"
"Yes, you did. Well, let's go upstairs to my room. If you don't mind, I'd rather you didn't say hi to Peter or my mum."
At this, Viviann hesitated for the first time. "Well, alright." she said finally.
"Oh yeah, these are the dwarfs. You can say hi if you want."
"These are Damien and Dexter? I can't believe it!"
"Hey, Viv, long time no see." said Damien.
"Hey little man! Or should I say big man? Come on, give me five, handsome!"
"That's right!" said Viviann, and Damien laughed.
"And what about you, little man? You look exactly like my dad! Although you probably won't remember me. Last time I saw you you were two weeks old!"
"But you're still so adorable, yes you are!"
"Come on, Viviann." said Hillary, getting impatient.
"Right. Goodbye, cute boys." said Viviann.
"Wow, loving what you did to Selina's room! I wish I could see her face."
"Yeah, well, the reason I called you, Viv," said Hillary "is... I need to tell you something. Promise me you won't freak."
"Alright, promise." said Viviann.
"I'm pregnant."
Viviann couldn't find her words.
"I don't know how it happened, I've always been so careful. But yeah, I've been taking tests like a maniac for days and they've all been positive."
"Oh. Oh! Alright, alright, how far along are you? Who's the father?"
"Umh, I have no idea. It could be either my friend John, or my friend Ash, or my... my physics professor, or any of the three guys I've gone home with at the bar I hang out with."
Yet again, more surprises for Viviann. "It doesn't matter who the father is. Have you told your mum? Are you planning on?"
"Are you insane? I can't tell my mum! She won't even look at me since... since I've looked like this. If I tell her that her perfect little daughter is pregnant, she'll kick me out of the house, so her precious little boys don't have a shitty example to follow! You can't tell her, Viviann, promise me that!"
"Alright, alright, I won't tell her, I promise." Viviann said. "Listen, you have to know about your options..."
"Actually..." said Hillary.
"I've already made a choice. That's why I called you. I need you to help me get an abortion."
"Wow, what?" said Viviann, and then fixed herself. Whatever her opinion was on the matter (and she wasn't even sure she had one) it didn't matter, since it was Hillary's body, not her own. "And you're sure of this?"
"I've thought a lot about it..."
"And yes, I'm sure."
She looked like she was going to cry.
"Hey, hey, hey, don't cry! I'm here, am I not? And I promised you I would help you with anything you need me to, didn't I? And this... I will help you with this, Hillary, if you want me to. We'll do it tonight. Okay?"
"Thank you so much, Viv. I knew I could count on you."
"Well, let's get on our way."
