Thanks. (:

Who're you calling kid? Does this mean I get to come up with some sort of kinda-cute-but-mostly-silly nickname for you as a future pilot? (My brother-in-law escaped that by teaching Laurel to call him "The King", but I make no guesses as to how he came up with that one.)

1. You're a kid. You are younger than I am. :)

2. When I become a pilot, we'll see about the whole nickname thing.

well happy belated day. I imagine you did not get your non-commercialized surprise yet. Let me know when you do as I must explain something about it...

Today's mail was late, arriving just before dinner, but your package was in it! w00t!

I'm madly impressed by your packing skills... the height of mine is crisply creased brown paper and duct tape. It impressed Robert's tech school classmates until they realized it wasn't a food-filled package, but boxers since he'd mentioned the week before that he couldn't find the kind he liked in northern Texas. (:

I've IMed you (on AIM) and am awaiting the explanation, since it looks so nifty it's got to have a neat story behind it.

On a side note, you should have seen the combined rock collection when Robert and I lived in the same house... his collection is all neatly labeled specimens, mine consists of stones I thought were pretty or "spoke" to me when I tagged along with him to Red Green (a neat little rock shop in Lakewood, CO).
