Our regular UPS guy delivered my new tent and sleeping bags today, so Laurel and I are squared away for our first overnight campout next month. The enclosed camp chairs bring our household total to four, meaning we finally have one for each of us and an extra to share. Hooray!

I can't wait to go camping here too! Last spring I bought a new tent for Shawna and me to share, but we haven't had time to use it yet. It's still too hot here anyway. My old Kelty "Vortex" is too small for two people and gear so I broke down and got a huge (10'x 14') Coleman. I know it's excessive, but if you're car camping, why not? As soon as it cools down here a bit more, I've been threatening to take Shawna camping in the Okefenokee Swamp. That's one of my favourite places on earth. You should bring your pack to Georgia and camp out there and we can all meet up!
