You are taking the potty training to a level I never made it to. I hope it only works! =) I had a hunch the Elmo might prove to be a headache inducer. I loathe anything that sings or makes noise in general!
At this point I'll try anything reasonable to help Laurel get in the habit of sitting on the potty frequently because she can't start kindergarten if she's not potty-trained.
So far I've found Potty Elmo less annoying than most of the other Elmo toys she's played with (Tickle Me Elmo Surprise, Chicken Dance Elmo, etc.). I just have to not memorize his potty songs or I'll find myself singing them. (:
Laurel only watches cable at my parents' house and maybe her paternal grandmother's house (I'm not positive she has cable), but I know all the songs from the DVDs we have and a Dora the Explorer soundtrack she got for Christmas. I thought it was the most annoying CD ever until I realized she got Songs from JoJo's Circus too!
- I still haven't installed the Flip-N-Flush seat because removing the plastic screws that hold the lid/seat assembly onto the toilet has taken ridiculously long and I still haven't gotten either screw out yet. seriously, when i bought a new toilet seat cover, it took me like an hour to figure out how to get the old one off.
That's the reason our flip n flush never got installed. I much prefer our Baby Bjorn toilet trainer. We just put it on when maylie wants to use the big potty. It is very sturdy and fits very well.
