I finally saw Coraline last night. It as great. The plot and pace of the movie kept very close to the novella, and it translated very well. And the visuals were entirely gorgeous and engaging. It was also nearly as terrifying as I remember it being when I was 12. The story of Coraline is a essentially all possible childhood fears condensed
