well I'm biased. my room is sage green, so I have a thing for earth tones. (FORESTS, LAUREN, THINK OF THE WOOD NYMPHS!)

knowing you though....I'd go for the oceanic route. a nice seafoam perhaps? seafoam tends to look good with white furniture and things, or some light grey? easy to decorate. OOH! if you do go for a thematic sort of thing...I have some nice suggestions for you! (a.k.a. OOH! OOH! LEMME HELP! \o/ )

I do love the seafoam things, My dresser and headboard are a super dark brown, then my bed set's got a seafoam/gray/tan thing going on, so I could kinda go either way.

Mine currently is purple, but before it was very light green. So I say go for the ocean colours, except if you tend to get seasick, and looking at green makes you feel ill. (Hence the change to purple! Heh).

No! I'm the only one that voted for rich colors! Lol, red is my favorite color, so naturally I'd pick that option. I'm still way put out that the bloody interior decorator couldn't get me my red curtains. *glares*

My parents bought me this lovely- um, what do you call 'em? Doona, bed blanket thingy, you know, the material that isn't a sheet that covers the bed?- pattern, predominantly red. *sighs*

Um, my bias towards red aside, I'm forced to admit ocean colors probably is best. Not as overwhelming, I think, and the bonus of accessory-matching cannot be denied.

Okay, this WP? It might've been made by ankareeda but I'm not sure about this. John was wearing black, I think, and I'm pretty sure the background was very light, if not white. I can't quite remember what Elizabeth was wearing, but I think they were going for the contrast between the two of them, the whole soldier/diplomat thing.. That's about all I remember though...
