Huh. Well. I have no idea where that fight came from, and I need to figure out a) how tipsy he was and b) if or how it's going to get resolved.

But I seem to have gotten slightly better at writing fluff.

Or at least I'm going for quantity over quality.

And... provided that I can make everything work out, this story is almost complete.

I am so unhappy with the way the writing on this is going.  I'm going to finish it on time, that should happen, but the spark that I want this to have is not there.  And that is disappointing.

But that being said:  I am thankful for my wordcount :P

It's interesting.  I'm looking back on HS swimming and trying to figure out all of the things that might have led me to not make it through.  And then throwing pretty much all of them at Kerry.  Poor Kerry.  I am not very nice to you, even if it is not Chinese Water Torture.  Kerry's swimming and my swimming are taking quite divergent paths at the ( Read more... )

Still behind, and stressed with a bazillion things, and possibly absorbing too much of Kerry's mindset, which is unhelpful for my own swimming.  But I do know where the story's going, and I think - despite using excessive description for my own purposes - I'm starting to advance the plot.  Hopefully, even more stuff will start happening with the ( Read more... )

Granted, it's not a very well-fleshed-out plot, but it's coming together in my mind.
