Junglebook updates

Got out of the emotional low I hit with my graduation movie and am moving again, thanks to a certain someone who gave me the courage to persue a more true and stylistic approach.

So here's some new designs, I'll soon be animating now and hope to put up here a first animated sample by next week.

Wow, these are nice. I randomly found these while googling. I worked at Disney in the effects dept. and was an animation background painter for 8 years and your stuff is definitely good. I worked on Jungle Book 2 and these remind me a bit of the art director's boards on that project. Nice job :)

Wow, that's so great to hear! (and cool that you can end up on my journal like that) ^_^ it's a real compliment that my artwork reminds you of the art director's boards! *blushes* I went to the Annecy filmfestival last year (my sand animation was in the student viewing) and I talked with some of the directors and animators from Disney there, also about this project, they gave me a lot of advice and we're really nice. I might still want to audition for one of their summerclasses/special programs (the lady there adviced me to go for the layout department), but first I need to finish this animated short and my current animation job. Can you tell me what it was like to work there?
