A new beginning for my Junglebook project. It will take it's time to evolve and find the right vocals and dance steps. But at least it's out on stage again. No idols committee that can touch it now anymore. It isn't competing. It's dancing on it's own, singing as if no one is watching. It might even sprout wings when no one is looking.

( Personal musing about my still to be finished graduation project... it's lengthy! )

Haa! The deed is done! I can call myself officially master now! The thesis was great and well documented so... ahhh.. I'm so happy! So incredibly happy! After the graduation exposition next weekend the chapter of my student life will finally have closed and I can move on into the real world. Hope to see you all there on the exposition!

I passed my exam! It was a tight working schedule the last week, but with all the help from everyone, I managed to pass as a bachelor and as a master also, if I edit my thesis a bit before half september.           Finally started animating, even if it's some random tests which will find their way into the movie cause they're awesome ^_^ especially the one with Mowgli running in profile clawing away at the ground and nearly losing his footing. Straight ahead aproach is still my best working gem, even if it does take some time to generate the mood ( Read more... )

Here's an incomplete animation test. It actually came out great, so my hopes are rising once again a bit. If I can just keep this up and gently start animating my motivation and faith will probably grow along with that too. Need to keep working.http://junglebook.hku.nl/jb/Tests5.mov

Got out of the emotional low I hit with my graduation movie and am moving again, thanks to a certain someone who gave me the courage to persue a more true and stylistic approach.

So here's some new designs, I'll soon be animating now and hope to put up here a first animated sample by next week.
