I often wonder when I will get used to having to travel to DC daily. It's only an hour, but it feels like a long journey every morning.

I had to travel home last week abruptly. My grandmother passed away last Saturday morning at 2AM. It makes you think about life and death when you realize that eventually as much as I celebrate life I have to come to terms with the reality of death. My mother did as well as can be expected.
