*He notices the sign from some distance away and although the writing is unfamiliar to him it's still the only marker of any kind he's seen in this strange place. The... person writing is similar in appearance to some of the Trigati priestesses he's seen before but is different enough to pique his curiosity. Not wanting to seem too threatening this time if this person is at all like the priestesses, he shifts to his base appearance - that of the blue-skinned woman - and approaches.*

Well, I just figured it would come in handy for the newcomers. It's no good to have all of these children wandering around who don't know where to find their next meal. Well, it's no good for the adults either, but you know what I mean.
