[Well into the evening, amidst all the heavy rain and lightning, a jerky video transmission will be appearing in the journals of those who happen to be looking through it at the time. Although, "jerky" may not be the right term for it, as in all actuality, the post came into being after Miyo Takano threw her journal a good yard away from herEnough ( Read more... )

[This is it. Ever since she was taken, Keiichi has been watching the journals at every waking minute basically, waiting for the inevitable return. Hoping that the first thing he would hear from this woman wouldn't be something to worry about. But of course that couldn't be.

He recognizes the edge in the voice. The lack of sense. Though maybe he's just judging her wrongly because part of him did expect her to return on a critical stage. Part of him still hopes that no one will get to her before she kills herself out of madness. But it's only a small part and as much as he dislikes her, he can't turn around at her now, even if he will probably come to regret it.]

Yelling won't reach them. Just calm down.

[It's... Mostly a hopeless attempt to see if she's just very angry rather than paranoid. He doesn't really wait for an answer though. He will be gone, grabbing a good dose of the medicine and only making a brief stop to get Minato to come with him. After that he will start the search for her, if she's not in need of help he can ( ... )

[Honestly, it's good if she doesn't trust fully in this situation, Keiichi doesn't care if she trusts him or not. So long as she goes to the clinic for now that's okay with him. He makes his way there calmly but not stopping. He's not rushing it but definitively he'll be light on the moves, he is no doctor, he doesn't know if they have time or not or even if she's really that critical or not. He saw the redding parts of her skin and they were enough to put him on alert.

Takano will be pleased to see that he doesn't head anywhere that isn't the clinic.]

[While she does occasionally slow down and sometimes scratch at her neck lightly, the process is seeming to go fairly well.

... But that's just because she figures they'll leave her at the clinic, and that she'll be able to tend to herself. She isn't expecting anything past that.

Regardless, she remains completely silent the entire way there. Seeing that they are actually going to the clinic is certainly making her feel a little better about deciding to follow, too.]

[As they approach the clinic Keiichi's mind starts to race again, it's going to get tricky again, to get her to be treated. Certainly they can't tell her that she has the syndrome, he doubts she's aware of it or would accept it. Maybe if they convince her to get some tranquilizers and gets put to sleep they could give her the medicine while she's out of it. Problem would be how to get her to take the tranquilizers if she refuses. It would really be best if she just did things willingly but... They can't really just allow her to do her thing when she's so much on the edge of it.

Anyway, he will be getting into the clinic, holding the door open for the other two to enter.]

[Once she's inside, she takes a few steps in ...

... then stops.]

... There. You did what you said, right? Now go. Both of you.

[Litchi glances up from the front desk as the door opens, immediately taking in as many details as she can. Takano and two young men. Adell's warning from so many months ago springs to mind almost instantly. Even from this distance, she can see the reddened scratch marks on Takano's skin. It's definitely a good thing she was brought in...

Still, she knows she'll have to approach this carefully. If it took two young men to get her in the door, she'll need to handle the situation with caution.]

Hello? Is there anything I can do to help you?

[It's an empty question, she knows. She already knows she'll have to go and get the medicine, but it's probably a good idea to figure out just how severe the condition is before she tries that.]

[He doesn't want to leave. She's still not safe, she's still not being treated... But it's what he said, if he insists she may just get more paranoid or something.

It's a good thing that the doctor is there already and moving on. Still... If they stay within Takano's vision range it may get tricky, he will have to leave this to the doctor and hope that she can get to give her the medicine without problems.]

She has just been returned from a kidnapping, we just came to escort her here. She's a nurse herself, so she could treat herself well but having another doctor's help probably wouldn't hurt her.

[Just don't let her to treat herself alone... She won't give herself the medicine even if she knew she had the syndrome. But he can't say that now, thus he turns to leave, just as promised. Hoping that it will still be all right and that things will go down as smoothly as they have gone so far... He will ask Minato to stay around the area with him though, in case Takano tries to run away.]

[Even with her condition on full-blast, Takano attempts to be firm -- especially since she doesn't know this doctor. What if she's collaborating with Keiichi? And what if Bernkastel was telling the truth? What if they drugged her and threw her in some kind of jail or something?

She forces out a thin smile, despite how ragged she looks from the scratches and the rain.]

... I only need a room to myself and some supplies. That's all.

[Just returned from a kidnapping, hm. That certainly explains a lot. Litchi gives Keiichi a small nod, quietly motioning for Takano to follow her. Despite her gentle tone, there's a silent warning that she won't be backing down from helping her personally.]

I can certainly get you a private room, but I can't just leave you to tend to yourself. You'll need plenty of rest to recover... besides, I want to be sure we've gotten you treated for everything.

I appreciate your concern, but I would be much more comfortable tending to myself. [... The word "concern" probably came out a little snide there, on top of everything else.]

I don't mean to make you uncomfortable. I only want to be sure we've treated everything.

[Snide or not, Litchi is still entering Mom Mode. Her tone is still very gentle and soothing.]

Please, this is for your own safety. I know it's a little uncomfortable, but I promise it won't take very long.

[Sadly, that sort of tone means nothing to someone near the most critical stage of the Hinamizawa Syndrome, but at the very least, Litchi's insistence has gotten through to Takano. ... Not in a good way, but hey! Progress!]

... As long as it really doesn't take long, then fine. Do whatever it is you feel you need to.

[... Although, Takano's sense of time is extremely skewed right now. Her definition of the phrase "won't take very long" is most likely way different from Litchi's, at the moment.]

[Litchi gives her a small smile and a nod as she holds the door open to an empty room.] It should only be a few minutes. Please, just make yourself comfortable and I'll be right back with the painkillers.

[And the medicine that she's kept careful track of for just such an occasion. But she doesn't need to vocalize that part.]
