[Well into the evening, amidst all the heavy rain and lightning, a jerky video transmission will be appearing in the journals of those who happen to be looking through it at the time. Although, "jerky" may not be the right term for it, as in all actuality, the post came into being after Miyo Takano threw her journal a good yard away from herEnough ( Read more... )

[This is it. Ever since she was taken, Keiichi has been watching the journals at every waking minute basically, waiting for the inevitable return. Hoping that the first thing he would hear from this woman wouldn't be something to worry about. But of course that couldn't be.

He recognizes the edge in the voice. The lack of sense. Though maybe he's just judging her wrongly because part of him did expect her to return on a critical stage. Part of him still hopes that no one will get to her before she kills herself out of madness. But it's only a small part and as much as he dislikes her, he can't turn around at her now, even if he will probably come to regret it.]

Yelling won't reach them. Just calm down.

[It's... Mostly a hopeless attempt to see if she's just very angry rather than paranoid. He doesn't really wait for an answer though. He will be gone, grabbing a good dose of the medicine and only making a brief stop to get Minato to come with him. After that he will start the search for her, if she's not in need of help he can ( ... )

[Because you have the syndrome too.]

It's the best place to rest for tonight and be sure you're not hurt, isn't it? You're a nurse, wouldn't that be a good idea?

Ah ...

[He's ... right about that. She knows he's right about that ... but ...]

... How do I know you two aren't trying to trick me?

[Well, they are technically trying to trick her, wanting her to go to the clinic so she gets the medicine without knowing she's getting that and such. Maybe he could try to make her realize that she has the syndrome too after all but... No, it wouldn't work. Or maybe the part of him that doesn't care about what happens to her is at least loud enough to make him not want to try something that if worked would benefit her so much.]

I don't see why we would want to trick you. But we aren't going to drag you there, we will just lead and escort you. You can see on your own where we are heading and you can refuse to go if you see that we aren't going to the clinic. You can take your journal and keep it open and scream for help if we try something other than that, someone is bond to listen and come to your aid at any rate, right?

[There's nothing else he can say to try to convince her. Of course if she refuses they will have to drag her there after all, but he prefers to not give her more reasons to be against him.]

[Oh, she's not trying to be difficult on purpose -- and Keiichi is driving a good bargain -- but one thing needs to be clarified for her before she makes a decision here.]

... Why? Why are you bothering with me? She ... she told me ... she told me that you ... [scratch scratch]

[His eye twitch as he sees her scratching again and he bites his lip. Damn it, Bernkastel. He really doesn't need to ask about who Takano is talking.]

If by she you mean Bernkastel, she has only told you what she wants you to know. Because that's what she does, you shouldn't trust her words completely or take them as an absolute truth... But I'm not going to tell you want to do, so forget that.

[It's a lost battle anyway, specially if she's in this state.]

The reason why I would bother with you is pretty simple. It's because I'm the kind of guy who can't stand to see others suffer or have problems, no matter what my personal feelings are. Besides, no matter what he himself did, I have always considered Tomitake-san a friend and he wouldn't forgive me even in a thousand years if I were to not try to make sure that you're all right. Just go to the clinic, let me lead you there and you won't see me around again at all.

[At least to his best ability to avoid her.]

Jirou ...

[Then Keichii is ... doing this for Tomitake Jirou? That guy who suddenly disappeared on her, abandoned her ... did he actually care after all ...?

---"Be careful."]

You ...

["Keiichi told me he's going to look for you with some people. Do you know what it's like to be locked in a dark tunnel with no sound or company, Takano?"]

You're ...

["That's what you will be faced with if he finds you."]

[... And yet, what Keiichi just said about her ...

... ... ...

Who the hell does she believe, in a situation like this? She backs up a little more, although it seems less out of fear and more from confusion.

... ... ...]

... My ... My journal. One of you ... bring me my journal.

[He steps back as she does, as silly as it may seem, he doesn't want her to see him as a threat. He's not here to hurt her after all. It's hard to know if her actions are out of fear or something else when the syndrome is running wild. He just prays that the conversation keeps making sense, that his words aren't suddenly warped in her mind and twisted by the syndrome to make everything worse.

He nods at her words.]

Okay. I'm going for it.

[He's the one to go, he doesn't even consider letting Minato do it. Out of the two if somehow Takano bolts and tries to escape, Minato is the best prepared to deal with that. He moves slowly, trying to keep himself in her sight so she has no reason to suspect of him. He gets the journal, closing it and moves back to where he was before.

He won't hand the journal to her though, he keeps the distance and just throws it carefully so it's obvious that he's not throwing it to her, letting it fall close to her. Making it slide on this ground would be difficult anyway.]

[She stays completely still when Keiichi goes off to retrieve her journal. Once he throws it near her, she slowly bends down to pick it up -- almost as if she were fearful of the journal itself for whatever reason.

She holds it close to her, staring at the two boys with a very unsure expression.]

... I'll follow. [ ... ] But if you try anything ...

[He nods, understanding what she's saying but relieved anyway. This is the best option right now after all. Not the easiest but the best.]

I'll go at the front, my back to you. If I go anywhere else but the clinic you will have time and space to do whatever you want.

[Not that she will need those though. But even if at some point she got too paranoid and tried to run away anyway, he knows by now that Minato can reach her despite there being some distance between them with his Personas and knock her out. Not that she needs to know that, though.

He turns and starts to move towards the clinic. Once there, the problem if giving her the medicine will arise again but he trusts that Dr. Faye-Ling will be able to come up with something for that. Adell should have already warned them anyway.]

... Fine.

[Bern had said something about Keiichi being a "Magician of Words", so she still doesn't trust this situation. If she even has a split second thought that they'll be going anywhere that isn't the clinic, she definitely will be trying to make a break for it.

... Regardless of that, once he starts moving, she follows, keeping a good distance away from him and clinging to her journal as if it could protect her somehow, should things not go her way.]
