So I've gotten a few suggestions for poetry icons... you already know there's going to be a poll, so let's get to it, shall we?

I listed a few classic poets in the poll, but my favorite modern poets are Billy Collins and Patricia Jabbeh Wesley.

Auden, Housemann (esp. The Oracles! LINK , yes -Yeats!, and Stevie Smith's Not Waving But Drowining.

Oh, and Larkin's "This Be The Verse."
