Oh, Dwight! And Sasha! I just love his thought processes in this. Nice job!

Yay, thanks! I was a little nervous about this one, because he's DWIGHT, and as such is kind of off-center of normal, but once I got centered on the glories of Dunder-Mifflin I felt all right. Heh heh.

Heeeeeeee, Dwight's routine! Telling children inappropriate things! Sasha!

He's a dog," she adds offhandedly.

Hee, I'm glad you liked the dog part, because I actually had to throw that part in after I realized at the last minute that I hadn't mentioned Darwin being a dog, and that maybe people would think he was an African-American guy who was locked out of his house, and that might go badly.

Hell, I'm glad you liked the whole thing! Yay!

. . . oh my God, that was the cutest thing I have ever known! Seriously. You have succeeded in melting my heart. Dwight being Dwight and critiquing a seven year old's drawings and her fish wanting to get to heaven real fast (oh, I can SO see Toby saying that) and Red Vines and just YES. Everything about this is amazing, and turns my soul pleasantly fluffy.

Yay that you like my Dwight! That means a lot, from the queen of all things ensemble-based, because your Dwight is an awesome Dwight. Hooray! Dwight for everyone!

Hee, adorable. Of course Dwight would bond with children while explaining medieval torture instruments, and of course it's surprisingly warm and fuzzy, in a weird way. It's just a shame he didn't have his copy of Struwwelpeter on hand.

I was re-watching "Bring Your Daughter To Work Day" and Dwight with kids is just the best thing ever, because he has such a wacky set of strongly held values and a strongly held belief that he must pass these values on, so he ends up being so damn earnest. How could I pass it up?

So glad you liked it!

She watches Dwight with her incongruously large eyes, apparently analyzing the threat he poses before sharing further information, yet, at the same time, refraining from showing fear. Dwight approves of this behavior.

Oh man, Dwight and Sasha!! Dwight's morning routine, and the drawing of torture devices with crayon, and eating candy in the morning. Yay, this is awesome and so sweet.

Hooray! I'm still so glad that this turned out well, because when the elements seemed to point to Dwight and Sasha I was just like "...oh hell, now I have to write Dwight AND a convincing six-year-old" and I had never tried either of these things before. SO. Thanks for the happy!
