Mothers are insane. All of them. I think there's something hormonal that happens when you have a baby that changes your brain so that you become completely crazy.

Anyway. I'm looking forward to the pictures of your new haircut. Have a good trip moving to Boston and...carrying all your stuff into your dorm room. (I always found moving out was worse, though.) I'll be thinking of you on Sunday! :D

They carry it up for me! All we have to do is pull up to the curb and help some people unload, and they take all our stuff upstairs for us!

They only do this when you're a freshman, though. I think it's to help you get your car out of the middle of a busy Boston street as fast as possible.

I got a new haircut, too! Not posting it because I want to surprise my parents when I see them in a few days.

My parents cut the cord *snap* like that. My brother's bedroom became an office and mine became a guest room. You'd never know we lived there. And my parents started taking all these road trips and cruises, like they couldn't wait to be rid of us. They're going to Norway next month. No empty nest syndrome there!

I never had to do any summer reading. I guess I lucked out in that respect. I never had to write any 60-page papers, either.

By the way, did you get that mix CD I sent?

not if you sent it recently. to where did you send it?

I sent it to the only address I had for you at the time, which was actually your mom's. It was a while ago, and everyone else I sent them to on the same day got them a few days later, so maybe there was some kind of confusion. If it really didn't arrive, I have the playlist saved, and can make it again and send it to your college address. Let me know.

it's possible that my mom got it and because of getting ready for college and junk, she forgot to give it to me. i'll ask her next time i talk to her.
