I'm so excited SN is the writer on this one. When I looked at your list, I was stunned. I didn't know he had written all of those episodes. For me, Yanks is the only semi-sour note. I thought CitC was the standout non-AU episode of S 4 and I think this episode will be great (save and except for lawyer comments, above). I'm with you on the letter. She can't say that she loved him. It wouldn't make sense in their time line.
Haven't we also seen some stills from SN that show Brennan screaming? I also read somewhere that she has some sort of related memory or experience that reminds her of being buried alive. Perhaps a dream? Perhaps she's in danger somehow?
As for the sides, I'm hoping those were fakes. Everything there seemed, I don't know, kind of rushed?
Anyway, I'm really hoping there will be a lot of emotional fallout, from all sides considered. I wonder if Hodgins, who seems to have found a lot of calm and peace lately, will flip out again, all PTSD. And yes, please oh please let us see the note. I think SN has said something about how the Gravedigger "isn't done," but I don't want to have to wait until season 6 to know the contents of Brennan's note!
Also, any idea if we'll have an intern of the week? I miss Mr. Vincent Nigel-Murray.
Maybe not. When GD took Bren & Hodgie we still had Zack. And when she took Booth, I don't think there were any interns with them, & they're going to be in court so I don't think any of that points to us having interns. Tho yes, I adore VNM. & I can not 4get that his gf used to call him "Vino Delectable" lol. I can't believe we're one ep away from the finale! I so fear my heart being crushed or otherwise mauled. :S
I don't expect to see Bren's note...historynutMay 7 2010, 20:36:18 UTC
Nobody knows if the note will ever surface, in fact or in conversation, but I just don't see it being something "big" on the B/B front seeing as 1) Booth was with Cam at the time and 2) where Brennan was then is not where she is now emotionally or as Booth's friend.
To me the GD episode is almost the beginning of them "becoming more" -- or at least admitting to themselves that they were more -- than just partners like they were in that present or (as we now know but didn't then) they were once super attracted to each other as alpha male/female in the beginning.
