I'm only INCREDIBLY EXCITED ABOUT IT.

In which B/B will be reminded that they really hate it when the other person has death looming over their heads, and they have many possibilities for hugging, and we maybe get to see Brennan's letter (which might be an excellent revelatory thing, given the current state of their relationship, if it says anything about permanence of feelings...I have drafted what i think this letter is before, in one of my stories, and I maintain they'd have to work hard to make me feel like she would have said she loved him in it, but I can bet she said he was really important, anyway), and, most importantly: WRITTEN BY STEPHEN NATHAN.

Here, a list from IMDB, of episodes SN has written:
Man in the SUV
Two Bodies in the Lab
Soldier on the Grave
Mother and the Child in the Bay
The Headless Witch in the Woods
The Glowing Bones in the Old Stone House
The Pain in the Heart
Yanks in the U.K.
The Critic in the Cabernet

What this means?

Stephen Nathan gets called up for The Big Ones.  I'm saying.  Man in the SUV was the second episode - pivotal for hooking an audience.  Two Bodies in the Lab...do I even need to tell you?  Soldier on the Grave - EXTREMELY important to the B/B relationship.  There are divergent views on PitH, Yanks, and CitC, but look: he's a big episode guy.  And he hasn't written any of the other episodes this season.

Translation:

This is going to be a big episode.

PUMPED!

(I also went on a crazed rant after I read the sides about the lack of legal reality in this episode.  I'll link it in the eventual recap.  Because it really is ridiculous.)

spoilers, season 5, bones
