My room-mate is greatly enamoured of Jim, his pet roach. I am at significantly less friendly terms with Jim, however, than my room-mate, and it is thus often my room-mate's purpose to relieve me of my unnecessarily negative attitude towards a creature so regal and majestic. Oh Zeph... you never fail to make me laugh. Poor little Jim. You should take him home to the cat that you were telling me about... maybe she (or was it a he?) would accept Jim as a tasty treat and peace offering. ;)

Thinking about it, I was also told once that cats love showers as well. Yeah. Really hot ones. Like they don't feel the heat cause of all the fur, ya know?

Dearest...I am assuming that you know that you can drown a fly, then cover him with salt and he comes back to life?

Another 'pet' related story. My uncle had a snake that he kept as a pet. Once, he was leaving on vacation and dropped two mice in the cage to keep the snake well fed while he was gone. Unfortunately for the snake, after it ate the first mouse, the second one ate a hole through the middle of the snake, killing him. My uncle was in such a fury, he threw the mouse in the freezer and froze him.
