This is an interesting article mostly about celiac disease, and people who need to go GF (gluten free) for medical reasons. I found it very interesting, and quite true, and its more articulate than me. Anyhow, I hope everyone who sees this will check out at least the first page.

That's the tricky thing about celiac... I got tested for an antibody that some celiacs have, and my test was negative. After, I went GF and my joint pain disappeared, so I don't even know what sort of gluten intolerance I have; I just know that eating GF helped me. (I also have a family history of similar issues)
Of course, there are more reliable tests, like colon biopsies, but celiac/gluten intolerance can be really tricky to diagnose. I've heard stories of people who were told they didn't have it, only to go to a different doctor/take a different test years later and find out that they did.
