Right. Because you grow the watermelons... I wonder where the ship gets their food from...

[Zeke might not know that, though. And at the rate Zelda's going, she's going to polish off an entire cake by herself. A little more meat on her probably wouldn't be a bad thing.]

No idea. The Stewardess prolly has something to do with it though. I asked her for sprinkles once. Got 'em for me.

Sprinkles?

[Zelda doesn't even know what those are, but right now, they sound delicious.

She pauses distinctly and stares up at him with those blue eyes. She's waiting for you to explain yourself, Zeke.]

Yeah. Sprinkles. They're little tiny candies kinda that you decorate cakes and stuff with. Come in all sorts of colors.

[Break's over. Zelda finishes off the cheesecake he brought for her. What to do with the watermelon however. She stares at it for a time, more interested in the seeds that the 'meat' of the fruit.]

I think everything is lovely... I want to be able to make wonderful things to eat like this too.

Well whenever y'feel up for it, we could continue your cooking lessons, eh? There shouldn't be any accidents either.

[She nods to him and it takes a little work, but she manages a smile. It's small, but it's there.]

I promise not to destroy anything else. I will be more careful in the future.

Good good. We'll try t'remake that cake. then I'll teach y'how to make frosting.

[Zelda only knows a little. The frosting is the sweetest part. Zelda's well aware of that. Sort of.]

...I want to make a cake for Jak. I can do that, right? I will ask him what his favorite color is.

Sure! Cakes one of the best presents.

[She manages to smile. That does cheer her up. Or maybe it's the cake. Or maybe it's the watermelon that she's reaching for.]

If it will make him happy... I want to share mine with him. And the cake you made has made me very happy too.
