[It is good enough for him. Zelda's unharmed. She's safe. She doesn't seem to be... effected like Herz was.

Zeke gives her a weak smile and rest his hand on Zelda's head, holding a small bag of ~yummy foods~ in his other hand]

hey there, Zelda.

[...Is... she turning red? Yes. She sort of is, but more because she's surprised by his gesture. A hand lifts and she gestures to the food he brought.]

It... is not all for me, is it? Will you stay with me...? Even for just a little? It does not need to be for long...

Yeah, it's for you.

[He drops his hand back to his side and takes a deep breath. Everything's okay now. Everyone came back.

Things'll be alright. They always are]

I'll stay as long as you want me to stay.

[Zelda is touched. Exceedingly so. She's come to a very warm welcome, though, so it's hard not to feel that way. Everyone's worried about her. It makes Zelda feel bad.]

A little bit should be fine for me. It is not so enjoyable to eat in solitude, I must admit.

[She closes her door and glances around her room.]

Well... It... is a bit unimpressive, but please, make yourself comfortable.

S'fine, Zelda. Don't need anything fancy, eh?

[He hands her the bad and takes a seat]

[She accepts it gratefully and after a moment, she joins him, and carefully unpacks what he brought for her.]

I feel like it has been quite some time since I have eaten. I really needed this.

Well I don't blame ya. Eat as much as you like. Plenty there.

...Can I feed you?

[Zelda's feeling a little childish, perhaps. She can't quite explain it. She just feels like she shouldn't hold back so much. One day her death may be permanent.]

[Zelda's ears lower.]

:3 Zelda will be fine in a day or two.

[The cake looks good. She wants to test it first, though, so she takes a small piece for herself and hastily seems to scarf it down. Obviously someone hasn't eaten.

Then she breaks off one for him and holds it up to him.]

[Yeah this is awkward.

This is really really awkward.

He's never going to look at you the same way again, Zelda.

He's just, yeah, gonna eat that piece she held out for him and, um.

[That seems to be good enough for her. Zelda retracts, as though she's willing to close herself off from the world. Her walls have risen once again and she has a difficult time truly being able to trust others.

She seems content with quietly eating. Or perhaps it's just the idea that she's allowed to eat. She's hungry without a doubt. In between bites, she forces the words through her lips.]

Did you make it all yourself?

[Talk about anything. Anything that isn't what she's missing, or anything that has nothing to do with what happened to her.]

[Well thank God she's eating.

Zeke shifts in his seat and gives her a lazy smile]

Made the cheesecake, didn't make the watermelon.
