Almost nine months.

What do you want?
How do you obtain what it is you want?
How do you decide what the right way is to obtain it?

In the time you've spent here, how have you changed?

None of us are excluded from the above.
Enlighten me.

there will be no obstacles, this isn't diplomacy; it's ambition, !kevas, !ironhide, !rochelle, !herz, !kate, answering the impossible questions, let us expand our horizons, !keats, !razer, !zeke, with ears that hear the gods, !her majesty zelda

I've found that sometimes th'best way t'get somethin' you want is ta let all the pieces fall into place on their own.

And y'know what? Think I've made peace with the ocean.

[Zelda's thoughtful for a moment.]

Is that so? What do you think of the idea that in order to make any sort of headway one should take the initiative instead of waiting for it to come?

Well, that's alright, too. Can't just sit around and wait forever, eh? S'up t'you which y'think is the better option.

But you are more the sort to let it come to you, you mean.

Philosophical all of a sudden?

It occurred to me that I haven't been keeping up with understanding cultural differences with the newer passengers. As philosophical as it might seem, I'm interested in direct answers if they can be provided.

I guess that's... a decent way to go about it, then. I'd throw something in but I don't have much to say on it.

Sometimes I ask roundabout questions, but it seemed better to go for the direct approach. I don't expect too many of the newly-arrived to have answers to the last question.

I'm still, however, interested in the thoughts of reaching goals. You have some, don't you, Miss Rochelle?

Only for those who can answer them. I'm guessing you haven't been here long enough to be able to. Understandable.

...

I-I've done a lot of--of changing.

[He should probably add a 'hey'...but even to him, it sounds awkward with such a heavy statement.]

You've been here for a long time, Herz. From what I remember, you've been here a few times at least, before I arrived. Would you rather not have changed at all?

meinxxherz February 20 2010, 01:32:07 UTC
No.

[For once, there's confidence behind that.]

I-I'm glad. I--

I-I needed to do some of it.

[Zelda's not used to hearing some words not stuttered from him. So that confidence? Very loud and clear.]

I'm happy to hear it. I'm also sure that as long as you're here you'll continue to change.

... You asking us? Or them?

oblique_wisdom February 20 2010, 02:08:21 UTC
I'm asking you too, Ironhide. Those questions aren't for a selective group. They're for everyone aboard, myself included.

heavyweaponsbot February 20 2010, 02:14:38 UTC
Hmn.

Answer is simple then. I have not changed.

No? Not even a little? Or are autobots incapable of change?
