A 'D', Mr Edgeworth?

I admit, I've no idea what it might stand for, nor do I think I ought to pry into the private reasons my acquaintances have for these letters.

Quite simple, Lord Cain. I'm assuming that it relates to a title I once held among the DA's office during my earlier years as a prosecutor. Demon Prosecutor, to be exact.

It's not something I haven't heard before, so it hardly surprises me to see it now.

[ooc; P.S hell yes it does, he's just pretending he's past it. Damn emosecutor. ): /random Hi Carufish ♥ ]

I see. You were that feared, then? Or at least you had that much of a reputation?

[ooc: Hello, Shahnibee :3]

I suppose it was the reputation more than an outright fear. For a very long time, I went without a single loss on my record.

I'm certain you might recall from that particular memory curse day, that there were things I had done that made the title quite warranted as well. But that man is no more, therefore making this particular initial, as I have mentioned earlier, very redundant.

When you find out the answer to your first statement about the agency, please let me know.

It seems like you and many other people are getting affected by this curse. I'm no exception either, much to my dismay. Although, that letter could mean anything, and is open to interpretation.

I never thought that we were being offered jobs to find nonexistent lovers. It was quite shocking to be approached in that manner...

This curse isn't being too much of a bother, other than making our clothing look vandalized.

...I wish I could give some sort of advice, but I'm not very well-versed in those types of emotions. Nor the women who talk about them.

I agree. This curse is only as bad as a person makes it out to be. Perhaps the letters bear symbolic meanings to those who think deeply about it. Either way, I'm not going to linger on the markings, or what they symbolize.

Neither am I, so I believe it is a subject best left alone.

I did, however, require your opinion on a different matter when you had the time, Mr. Nein. It's related to a certain case that has been going on in the City recently.

[ooc; Just setting some stuff out for the Walter Dornez case, since the Agency was also involved in evidence gathering xD ]

What in the world do these silly letters mean?

I suppose they signify a trait or title that might be associated with the person they are branded to.

It's reminiscent of a book in classic literature in the world I come from, where a lady was forced to wear a scarlet letter on her clothing while living in society for a deed she committed that was considered a sin by the people she lived among. A badge of shame, if you will call it that.

How awful! Thank goodness it is only fiction!

And history, as well. Though some things haven't quite changed where it comes to people's mentality...
