A 'D', Mr Edgeworth?

I admit, I've no idea what it might stand for, nor do I think I ought to pry into the private reasons my acquaintances have for these letters.

Quite simple, Lord Cain. I'm assuming that it relates to a title I once held among the DA's office during my earlier years as a prosecutor. Demon Prosecutor, to be exact.

It's not something I haven't heard before, so it hardly surprises me to see it now.

I see. You were that feared, then? Or at least you had that much of a reputation?

I suppose it was the reputation more than an outright fear. For a very long time, I went without a single loss on my record.

I'm certain you might recall from that particular memory curse day, that there were things I had done that made the title quite warranted as well. But that man is no more, therefore making this particular initial, as I have mentioned earlier, very redundant.

That is an impressive record. Perhaps it was a well-earned reputation.

Yes, I do recall that day, and I do agree that despite the City's attempts to remind you of it, it is redundant.

Heh. Impressive until one recalls that such a record isn't possible without a little help.

But that is neither here nor there at this time.

How have you been, Lord Cain?

I've been well enough, thank you. And yourself?

Quite well. I hope it will please you to hear that the tea and coffee room is already undergoing construction. My partner in this endeavor, Mr. Armando, has been doing an incredible job of keeping things flowing.

Perhaps you'd like to take a look sometime, when you are not too busy? It was your motivation that encouraged this project to continue, after all.

So soon? That is good news. I don't know Mr Armando, but he sounds quite valuable. I'd be more than happy to visit, though I don't feel I ought to take too much credit for starting this project. It was more your idea than mine, though I am glad to have provided the motivation.

Plans had already been underway, it was only a matter of finding the right time to have them put into action. But I do hope you will like the work in progress.

Perhaps over the weekend? So long as there aren't any annoying curses that day...

Yes, that would be fine. Barring any curses that outright prevent me, I would be glad to see it this weekend.

Then I will look forward to meeting you, Lord Cain. I'll forward the directions to you through your personal network system.

Do have a good day.
