On a whim, I happened to be looking at the editorial section of the Trib today at work. I was on break, I was bored, it was there. It was serindipitous. For some reason, there were only about four pages of the paper actually present, so my options were limited. I glanced at the reader letters. Um, it seems like you are reading a little bit into that letter. I mean it's not a brilliant insightful letter, but I don't think it approaches the vitriol you seem to have taken from it ( ... )

Well, compared to the letters in our local mullet wrapper, Norman sounds like an effing Rhodes scholar.

Yeah I would have to say that's the one tru thing that bothers me about this letter. Referring to the Holiday season as "the annual attempt to ban the real meaning of christmas." As if we don't watch a million shitt hallmark original movies ABOUT the "true meaning of christmas" interspersed by as many commercials laced with red and green and christmas trees, with wealthy solcialites handing off keys to Lexuses to their loved ones. We don't have radio stations that devote the entire month of december to repeating the same fifty shitty christmas songs over and over. And the terribly oppressed christians are met by picketers as they stroll into mass on christmas eve that read 'Christ is (still)born!' and 'a partridge impaled on my menorrha mutha fucka ( ... )
