Yeah, so. Enrolment wasn't so bad. :) I rushed to Kenny Roger's Katipunan after 1.5 hours in CAL 305 prerog-ing for a GE. It was there that Michi, Kaye and Mael happily informed me that Barack Obama is the new President of the United States of America.

The geeky song lyrics! The cheesy dance numbers in orange tablecloth!

OMG LORRAINE you have just put into words one of the Biggest Dreams of MY LIFE - for all of us to just up and start singing and dancing like we're in a musical. I want that to happen to me! Hahaha. A Pisay musical would be super awesome. Somebody should get on writing that. ;)

I know Obama is against Prop 8, but the people of California voted for it. As a federal state, I don't think Obama can touch any of that. And just... even if it does get reversed one day, just the simple fact that they even voted yes on it will always break my heart.

I always feel like some sort of traitor/guilty/uncomfortable when I attend mass and there's that prayer for the nonpassage of the Bill always prayed after communion.

I hate that prayer. I don't know if all the churches pray the same thing, but the one in ours is just so passive aggressive and misinformative (Is that a word? LOL) and hypocritical. It frustrates me so much, and I'm so thankful that they don't make us pray that ( ... )

People last night were cheering when Barack won, and I mean, "get out of your dorm America is taking back it's dignity sort of cheer."
kinda relieved my parents aren't bitter even though they'd've voted Republican

LA isn't that liberal. I'd be more surprised if SF didn't vote No.

Sidenote: Cool~ You can see where I am in your California Map. :P

OBAMA!!!! *applauds*

Proposition 8 makes a lot of people frustrated. Love is not something you can negotiate. Very true. Prop8 discriminates people who fall in love.

I'm not such a fan of Troy and Gabriella. BECAUSE I LOVE RYAN AND KELSI MORE!!!!!!! I started shipping them since HSM2. RYAN/KELSI!!! The way Ryan asked Kelsi to the prom was so adorable. *squishes Ryan*

Prop 8 discriminates people who fall in love.

People who fall in love, people who just want to live their lives the best they can, people who have choices and rights, dammit. It's so frustrating.

I've been expecting Ryan/Kelsi since HSM2 ended, and I'm so happy they finally happened! WHEE :D

OBAMA/BIDEN '08!!! WOOHOO!!! Celebration for us as well so let's have a Dairy Queen dayout this Monday, k? :)

Regarding Prop 8, it's heartbreaking. I'm speechless. The sad thing is even if Obama is against it, he really can't do anything about it considering that the US has a Federal type of government so autonomous ang bawat state.

The Reproductive Health Bill parang ganyan din ang magiging resulta. Alam mo naman ang Catholic church dito and the fact that not everyone is educated well enough about this bill. Paano ba naman nila maiintindihan eh sarado na utak nila and they're quick on calling it as pro-abortion. Haaay. What else is new? I guess I want to go with Cris's idea of creating our own society kung pwede lang kung saan walang mga ganitong problema. Utopian society sabi nga ni Charm. LOL

As for HSM 3, ang masasabi ko lang, Ryan/Kelsi! Haha. Di ako masyadong fan ni Zac/Vanessa. Ewan ko ba pero naapektuhan yata ako ng mga kung anu-anong lumalabas na paparazzi pics nila or something or I guess because I don't like Vanessa that

Yay Dairy Queen! \:D/

Paano ba naman nila maiintindihan eh sarado na utak nila and they're quick on calling it as pro-abortion.

Ewan ko nga ba. I don't understand why everybody insists on jumping on the same old conclusions and allow the church to dictate the "right" way of thinking; I can't believe the church is hypocritical enough to use religion to sway people's opinions. I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. But you knew that already, so enough ranting. ;)

I'm not a fan of Vanessa at all (I HAAAAAAATE her acting OMG), but Zac is just so so so cute when he's around her and they look so good together that I can't help but love them. *shrug* :D
