Thanks for reading. I'm glad that you were amused by the Cao Cao reference. Personally, I couldn't believe that the "Haruhi: Super-Uke All Yaoi Love Square Special" came out of my head. :looks at self askance: Someone needs to make a fic of that for sure. ;)

I actually read your latest fic over the weekend, and forgot to put my comments up. This jogged my memory, so I'll be sure to do that. (ZOMG! OOC Haruhi is... hot!)

I love the way you layered the details in, and finally, a Hunny who's as smart as he is! :O It was fuuun to see Hunny take charge over Kyouya, because it'd be the last thing (or the first thing, actually) you'd expect.

I love this pair, I really do.

I think it's easy to forget (and Hunny makes sure of it) that Hunny is the #1 student in the senior class.

Hunny is also very aware of what makes him "kawaii." :grin:

And remember how he lectured Haruhi in Vol. 3? Hunny is usually very quick to see conflicts and fix them. (Unless he hasn't had sugar.)

PS. Which pairing do you love? K/Ha or K/Hu? The latter would be one for the crack ages.

Haha, and then he brings you BRILLIANT insights about each character... I think it's at the end of Vol7 or 8 where Hunny just puts a little commentary on all of the members of the host club re:Haruhi. Hurhurluv. XD

Hunny without sugar is great. Although if Kyouya's a masochist (he's sadist more like... BUT) he could just withhold sugar from Hunny and reap the consequences. I don't know where that came from, but Hunny manhandling Kyouya in a fit of lustful rage? All manipulated by Kyouya himself? THAT WOULD BE CRACK.

But I do love K/Ha, because MeganeLOVE is my OTP.

I really love this so far. It's bordering on dangerous

Honestly, that is probably the best thing that I heard so far regarding the fics. I'm writing them for the simple reason that I want to read fics about Kyouya and Haruhi with lots and lots of chemistry and character development. (And then some steamy scenes in the end. But I'm going to make everyone in the story work hard for it.) But when you said that the stories were bordering on dangerous, I think I actually got up and danced around saying "THAT'S IT! THAT'S WHAT I WAS GOING FOR! HOLY CRAP!"

And as far as the doushinji... I'm totally waiting for someone to write that. I think Renge would make Haruhi the Super-Uke, because she's so pretty, and the rules say that the prettiest person is the bottom...

I'm taking a couple days to rest and brainstorm the details of the next chapter. After that, it takes about a week or so to write out. I actually have most of the plot points pencilled in over the 4 year arc, but I always like to see what details come out in the telling. (Every year gets two stories, and there's going to be a four year cycle.)

for once this is a story between Haruhi and Kyouya where he is still in character, this is not something I often find.

Wow. Really, just an awesome chapter. It's obvious that you put great thought into what you're writing, and I appreciate that. I also thought it was pretty cool for Hunny to cut straight to the heart of the matter. It shows he can be eerily omniscient in his own way. Oh, and very neat use of the statistical analogies -- examples like that would've made my stat classes more interesting, heh.

Also, I was somewhat inspired by Mr. E. Edward Grey in Secretary.

Hmm, that opens a whole world of scintillating possibilities. :) Would it be fair to say that the chess game = intellectual seduction?

I'm glad that you're enjoying the ride. It's weird: I'm really writing this series for myself (I was very sick a month ago, and Ouran was the only thing that cheered me up, and K/H was the only thing that made me grin for a few weeks.), but it's been fun sharing the chapters with other people. (To be specific, people who don't know me and won't laugh at me for writing a huge fanfiction series for a crack-happy anime

Well, I'm grateful that you decided to share your series with us, so thank you! :) This fandom is still relatively young, so it's thrilling to come across fanfics that have the potential to become classics. I'm still new to the anime/manga fandom in general, so it's been double the thrill to have discovered new ships I really like.

To be honest, I can't see much of a parallel between Haruhi and Lee except in their need for control (although in different manners). And since Haruhi and Kyouya are also sort of similar in that respect, it'll be interesting to see how you match that up.

Yeah, I agree that the ladies are in two completely different mental camps regarding self-esteem/personal outlook. And you're right in how both Kyouya and Haruhi are control-freaks in their own way -- which means I've been sitting around the last day going to myself "Who's going to be seme? Who's going to be uke? Aw, shit."

I think that I have found something that is going to differentiate them -- but I need to think and evaluate how sturdy a construct it's going to be.
