MERLIN PREMIERE!

Sep 09, 2009 22:57

Hello! I got back from the Merlin premiere at about 12.30am on Monday morning and then had to work until 7pm Monday and Tuesday, which is why this entry is fashionably late and full of facts you've ALREADY READ ELSEWHERE! Nonetheless...

A few photos from before the premiere )

idk my bff fera_festiva, merlin cast, merlin premiere at bfi, london, merlin

I swear they know about us slashers and pander to us. Especially Bradley with his Merlin and Arthur or Bradley and Colin quip. He knows!!!!

I was in England in July and saw those silly wrapped trees. Very funny.

I swear if anything like BFI comes up again, I don't care what else I've planned, I'm dropping it and going!

You know what, I think you might be right. There was so much innuendo in this new episode! It can't all have been by accident ;). Bradley loves the slashers, it's the only conclusion I can come to.

Yes, the trees made me feel like I was inside a Nintendo.

Do iiiiit!

I would have but I had airline tickets and another convention that I'd already paid for. Plus my family was going so I was kind of stuck. Next time though... for sure!

Ahhh! I'm so glad you noticed that :D :D :D I thought it was a boring video that needed spicing up a bit! This was my first time at the Natural History Museum too, it was great fun. I did prefer the British Museum though, so much more to look at!

I'm glad you liked the little furry guy, I just really loved his expression XD.

LOVE!!

to which Bradley shouted "Oh, he deserves it!" And it was amazing.

BWAHAHAHAHHA! Extreme love!! So extreme that it had me forgetting how to spell 'extreme' and sitting here for like five minutes wondering why my spellchecker had underlined 'extreem'. I am clearly not very bright.

Oh my god RPS love!! Hilarity! I am dying! I am filled with excitement just hearing about it! I can't believe you were THERE! When does it AIR for heaven's sake!??! I want it now.

Was that your voice in the accidental weasel-taping? You have a nice voice!

Does Colin talk all IRISH?? Is it adorable?

Omg. Too excited!

We should invent one! I'm desperate to dress up as Arthur...I was going to do it for the London Expo next month, but I need a Merlin ;__; or I'll just be a blonde guy in chainmail. Also, I have not even started making this costume. Maybe for NYE.

MERLIN-CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should invent one, and it could be in Derbyshire, and i could come visit you! I want to dress up as Morgana! I know, rocks will be thrown at me by the shippers, i know. But she has such pretty hair!

I think i got rid of half of my Merlin icons. What was i THINKING?

What's the London Expo?

I think Draco would be an excellent name! Although he looks a little too friendly and spaced out. I imagine that Mr. Weasley's patronus may have a similar expression...haha!

Yes, the polka dot trees really caught my eye! I think they were signatures...probably just grafitti though :(.

Thank you so much for your kind words about my bangs! They're a little wonky at the moment! You know, I said to fera_festiva that I needed to be Merlin in this picture, but it was just luck that I was sat on the right side! Haha!

Oh, they are the greatest cast, aren't they? I'm so pleased that you read something new...I was really downhearted writing this blog, because I thought it would just be a waste of time for everyone! I think that was my favourite moment of the whole screening, Bradley shouting that.

I'm glad you've managed to avoid spoilers, mine was only a teeny one that I saw in the preview...and obviously taken completely out of context by the slashy part of my brain ;)

Yes, I was spoiled for series one, mainly for Tom's death...which would have been really shocking otherwise! I'm so paranoid about spoilers too! More so with Lost. I should stay away from fandomsecrets, that place spoils me for everything! I just like to know that people are weirder than I am. I just don't see the point of reading the plot before you see it, it would be like turning to the last page of a book to see what happens. I like the tension of not knowing!

I can't wait to talk about the first episode with you! ♥

You're welcome! Thank you for reading, I was worried I would bore everyone with things they'd already read. I felt so lucky, thank you so much. x

I haven't really been reading any others because I'm trying to avoid spoilers, so I'm really grateful that you marked your post as not having any. :) That "He deserves it" moment sounds fabulous.

Ahh, I see! Hooray, I'm glad I was of some use! I bet I can't even remember which scene Bradley shouted it in now! Can't wait to watch it again :D
