Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been around to comment for a few days, I kept away from the computer to keep the migraines at bay.

Clive Owen is definitely no King Arthur... )

Hello you! I was wondering if perhaps you'd fled the madness of Harry Potter fandom, never to return! Aw, poor you having migraines. *hugs* I had one yesterday (on top of a slight hangover, erk!) and it was truly pants. I hope you're feeling better now :)

I did a course on Arthurian Lit at uni and it was amazingly cool because there are so many different versions. It's like fanfic in a way. Guinevere tends to get a raw deal in the early texts though - she's like the Whore of Camelot. And I seem to remember having a laugh in our seminars about Arthur/Lancelot slashiness!

Your art is amazing, and will surely sell like hotcakes!

Aww, I wouldn't desert you! Stupid migraines, we shall stand united and not let them beat us. We seem to get them at the same time...maybe it's the high pressure or something. Look to the skies!

Oh god, I shall have Clive Owen!Arthur/Blackadder!Lancelot nightmares tonight. The nearest we got to Arthurian Lit was Tennyson's Idylls of the King and I didn't get very far with that, I was too busy reading his poems about rotting corpses in gibbets. You can take the girl out of the goth scene, but you can't take the goth out of the girl. Hee!

Thanks for being lovely about my art, I have two 'watchers' on one of the paintings, huzzah!

*hugs* Rx

Nnngh. If I had any money, I would definitely buy your Ian Curtis. Fabulous. He is my absolute favorite tragically tortured dead musician. (with Nick Drake as a close second) :D

Ahh thanks so much for being lovely. Yes it's hard to pick between the two. I think Nick Drake just pips Ian to the post in my 'tragically tortured dead musician' poll, simply for having pretty hair and going downstairs to eat cornflakes on the night he died. *sigh*

Hee, Lancelot did look like Blackadder, didn't he! Argh, I couldn't finish watching King Arthur, not even Clive Owen could make me do it. I felt bad, but it just bored me.

I'm sure lots of people will bid on your art! I would look but the site is down right now. Shall pop back later.

I hope your migraine has gone.
*cuddles you*

Yeah it bored me too, I just didn't like any of the characters, except the kestrel guy and he was hardly in it! I wanted magic, goddamnit! Hee! I'm glad you thought Lancelot looked like Blackadder too. I've never been a big Clive Owen fan, my friend loves him though...I've been trying to get a copy of 'Vroom,' because both he and The Thewlis are in that film and I could finally squee with someone in real life. ;)

Ah, I'm feeling much better now thank you *cuddles you back*

I didn't enjoy King Arthur either. I found it to be rather disappointing.

I'm glad I'm not alone. Pretty much everything about the film was terrible. Except the kestrel guy *sigh.* Too many Romans, not enough magic...I think that pretty much sums up the film.

*hugs* I hope your migraines have gone away. I've been battling an allergy-induced migraine, myself. No fun, at all!

I've not seen King Arthur... So you wouldn't recommend spending the time on it, I take it?

Lovely artwork, btw. I always enjoy your work!

*hugs back* thanks, I'm much better now, hope you are too. Stupid migraines, I think mine are to do with the weather.

King Arthur looked good (lots of blood and gore!), but the characters were bland and the story was rubbish.

Thaks for being lovely :) ♥
