"You don't miss your water till your well runs dry"

Woah, it's been a while since I updated.

I guess that for over a month I've been planning to post about all the finales I've watched recently...but, as good as they were, they all depressed me thoroughly. "I always cry at endings" as Belle & Sebastian sagely sang, but...I don't know...Doctor Who and LOST pressed the same 'DO NOT PRESS' button ( Read more... )

sherlock, doctor who, lost, battlestar galactica, i always cry at endings, my dog merlin, derbyshire, daily alien picture

Omg it's YOU!! Hi!!!

Merlin is such a superstar! Some friends of mine are thinking of getting a dog next year when they move back to the states and they're like 'hmm, do we want a Border Collie, or a Cocker Spaniel, or...' and i'm like 'BORDER COLLIE BORDER COLLIE BORDER COLLIE!' and i tell them all about Merlin.

I hope the disability thing goes well for you. I mean, the living allowance thing, obviously, not the having of a disability. Because that part's crap.

Also, you MUST post the alien pictures here! Je demande! Je demande so much je speak bad French about it! It sounds utterly adorable and hilarious.

I am, as ever, envious of your gorgeous hair.

PS That spider is FREAKY! I made a weird noise when i saw the photo, and my coworker looked at me askance.

:D I have missed you the most of all. ♥

Ahh, really? Border Collies are the absolute best! I'm so flattered that you told them about Merlin. :)

Thank you. I feel really awkward applying for it, because some days I can walk quite a way, but I really can't work full time, so I thought I'd apply and see what happened. They're very strict, so I doubt I'll be approved, but it's worth a try and the extra money would be nice.

Oh, I'm so glad you want to see the alien pictures! I'll post them tomorrow to cheer up the dull Monday morning.

That spider is not natural. I'm going to google it now. OK, so I think it might be a Cucumber Green Spider, whatever it was, it was très mauvais.

It's YOU! ♥ Oh, I've missed you. Even though we've talked loads on Twitter and that. IT'S NOT THE SAME

I love your photos so much. I love how you always manage to find a dragon or a ghost or something else lovely and fantastic in otherwise ordinary, mundane things. ILU.

I know, I'm silly. I missed this place so much! I'm so glad I had twitter and facebook so we could talk. :(

Ahh, that's so lovely! I hadn't thought of it like that, thank you! Honestly, that dragon tree COULD NOT BE MISSED. It was epic in it's dragon-ness.

ILU too.

Hee. It's true, though! I remember you posting a picture of two wheelie bins that looked like they were posing. It filled my heart with joy. :D

Lovely photos! It's a really nice picture of you -- I love your fringe! Merlin is adorable as always.

This well dressing is awesome and really really interesting! I'm going to see if I can find any scholarly articles on it.

Good luck on the disability allowance, and also good luck to Merlin for his modeling gig. :)

Oh, ps I'm following you on twitter now!

Thank you! My fringe is my defining feature, I always struggle to make myself in video games! Thanks for the kind words about Merlin. :)

Yeah, the Well Dressing is cool! I always look forward to seeing what picture they create each year. Some I've seen in other villages are so elaborate!

Thanks for the good wishes! And thanks for following me, I've followed you back. :D

I'd love to see alien drawings! And you always do such interesting things. You'd think a big city like mine would have interesting things too, but your things always seem way better :P

Hooray! Then I shall definitely post them! I always find the things you do to be much more interesting! You ride a unicycle! But I'm glad you feel the same way. :)

Ahh, thank you! He's totally made my life complete, as silly as that sounds. He was worth the wait. I know how you feel.

Thank you! I've had a few kids excited about the TARDIS, so it was all worthwhile! :D

Oh, that icon again, what are you trying to do to me? ♥
