Other than trying to keep up to date with posting pics of our trip to Europe I am also trying to post other happenings. Lately I seem to have had little spare time. I have been reading lj and commenting when I can. Anyway, I think it's time to bring things up to date ( Read more... )

Was good to see you boys for dinner too (as always)...but can I say how envious I was of you lot getting to sample all that tasty beer! Next time JR is going to be designated driver and I will be able to drink beerage! :)

I think next visit we can go there again and I can try a paddle of beers...the range is very good indeed. And perhaps try and use public transport so you can both drink? Or is that too difficult to get home?

Actually public transport to and from our place is a bitch. We've gradually moved out into the respectable 'burbs which is great for peace and quiet but bad for getting anywhere without driving. Besides, public transport isn't really "us" I'm sure you'll agree LOL ;)

Strangely enough, the curtains work really well. It is a very unusual restaurant, and excellent food. The pictures don't show just how dark it really was inside.

We try! Life really is too short to not take advantage of opportunities when they arise. I figure that I don't smoke, don't go out partying, and drink moderately and socially at home. I figure I can afford to spend some money on enjoying my time off, especially when I work so hard.

The sky that particular night was spectacular.
