I'm not quite sure what to say, mostly because you said it all above!
I love your fics. I think you are a talented writer, and I completely understand what you mean about switching fandoms. I just hope you continue finding enjoyment out of fandom because that is what it is all about. The reason all of us are here is because we enjoy it, so any person who is berating you because you are not "doing what you are supposed to do" is entirely missing the point of fandoms. "Fan" is in the word - you have to like it!
Anyway, I agree with everything you said, and I hope after this people will be nicer. Or something. Again, I'm not quite you what to say other than: I support you! (which I understand is very cliche. oy.)

It isn't (just) the genocidal king I don't agree with, it's the existence of a king I don't agree with - I'm anti-monarchy, and heavily anti-birth-privilege in general. That's why trying to guess my politics from this fandom is completely pointless, as politically speaking, I have zero respect for Arthur as a prince. His nobility and epic strength of character aren't additive factors for me, they're redeeming factors.

I love your fics and am really sorry that some people act like idiots. Your writing, fandoms and personal life are your choice and other people have no right to judge you or to tell you what you're thinking. I hope that these issues don't make you leave fandoms but if you do then, of course, it's your choice. I just wanted to know whether you post everything that you post here on ff.net.

Yup, I post on FFN. Not everything here is on FFN (yet), and not everything on FFN is here. But between the two, that's all my fanfic.

Not really - thanks to having parents much like Uther Pendragon, I've become quickly accustomed to ignoring people when necessary, especially for the sake of my own sanity. But I still felt better getting all this crap off my chest rather than just letting it stew. :)
