dbdjbdjfkbddbnjdf!!!! So this whole thing is excellent but I have to spazz out like an idiot at the inclusion of 'You Said Something' because you know how I feel about PJ. And especially this song, it is one of my favourites of all time and I often associate it with Castle/Beckett.

I absolutely adore this: Sometimes she thought they were meant to just be friends, sometimes she hoped they were meant for more. Either way they were supposed to be together. It was the unspoken rule that lay between them.

I cannot wait to go listen to this whole thing now. <3

Heehee. I'm pretty sure I got that song from you! I hadn't listened to it more than a couple times, but then it came on shuffle when I was picking songs for the fanmix and I was like 'OMG, it's so them'.

I really do think that they both know they're stuck in each other's lives (in some capacity) until they die. And since I refuse to even think of believing that Kate will die in the premier, that means for a very, very long time! Lol.

Lol. I think I got a decent sampling of PJ songs from you and that was in there. And as a side note, if you are interested in any of the other artists on the mix let me know and I can upload the relevant CD. I'm pretty sure I have the full CDs for every song on there. (A lot of my favourite artists!)

I love this. I loved every single one of the drabbles, you really nailed the slow evolution of their feelings for each other, especially Kate's combined excitement, longing and fear. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you so much! I really feel like season 3 was a turning point for them, where things shifted from the fun flirting and the "maybe someday" feelings to something a lot more serious. I had a really fun time finding songs to show that and writing little drabbles to go with. :)
