Great twist. I was *not* expecting Zak to show up. I'm so glad he seems to have sensed that something's going on with Kara and Lee. And will Michael ever get a clue? I just so want to see the fallout of that!

This has been such a fun story. Love it and can't wait for more!

*g* Thank you! I think a lot of people weren't expecting that, but I couldn't resist. I like Zak too much to not include him at all. ;)

And yes, Zak is definitely more observative that Michael. Though perhaps he may be able to help Kara's brother get a clue... ;)

What an inventive way to introduce Zak to the story! I love that Bill is no longer pushing him and that Lee's outburst may have done some good. I also loved how Zak might've noticed something between Lee and Kara. That should stir things up nicely. Especially if Lee denies he has any special feelings for Kara which Zak might interpret as permission to make a move - unless the Zak in this universe is immune to Kara Thrace *g*

And yeah, even though Lee might be shocked to hear it, his outburst definitely got through to his dad.

I also loved how Zak might've noticed something between Lee and Kara. That should stir things up nicely. Especially if Lee denies he has any special feelings for Kara which Zak might interpret as permission to make a move - unless the Zak in this universe is immune to Kara Thrace *g*
--Let's say Zak is not nearly as dense as Michael... Lol. As for stirring things up... I think they may become a bit stirred. Lol. But perhaps not in the way you're thinking. The Zak in this universe has a very specific past with women/one woman. And although I might not get into explaining it here, it definitely becomes important for the sequel, so I'm keeping it in the back of my mind while I write. Cryptic, I'm sure. Lol.

Love this! Everything about Zak coming makes me SO happy, but especially that he's switching careers. Yay, no distaster - thanks for that! Also love that he's picked up on Lee/Kara. This story just keeps getting better and better. Thanks for posting!
